This heritage listed Parish in Nundah desperately needed a PA system upgrade as their dated system was majorly lacking in clarity and volume. The design of the building naturally brings a lot of problems when it comes to audio reinforcement.
Thankfully we were able to provide a full system upgrade which consisted of a distributed QSC loudspeaker and amplifier system. An ALLEN & HEATH AHM16 provides all the system processing as well as delay for the rear and side fill speakers. Due to cabling limitations we also provided wireless alternatives for lectern & altar microphones. Shure ULXD series microphones were the right choice as they provide a strong and reliable RF signal within the entire parish as well as clarity to keep speech intelligible throughout. The client required a functional system ASAP due to upcoming events and with a slight delay on the ULXD receivers we weren’t going to meet their deadline, luckily Brisbane Sound Group has a large hire inventory and we were able to provide hire units free of charge until new stock arrives. Having this service at our disposal is another way in which BSG can support our customers through out the installation process.
All mic & other audio levels have been set but simple volume control and mute buttons are provided via a 7inch touch screen if required.
The client is very happy with their system upgrade as it is a large step up from their previous system.
