How to Book a Hire

On the Day of Your Hire

 Unless you have been informed otherwise, collection of your equipment is between:

8:00am – 5:00pm (Monday and Friday) and

9:00am – 5:00pm (Tuesday - Thursday) and

9:00am – 1:00pm on Saturday

We are closed on Sundays and Public Holidays

 

vanPlease check the size vehicle required for your hire.  Ask our staff at time of booking or refer to the information listed under each package for vehicle requirements.  If you do not have a suitable vehicle to collect the equipment, ask our friendly staff for delivery rates.

licenceBring with you current photo ID with your current address.  If your photo ID does not have your current address, please bring in 2 x forms/bills with your current address on it.

cashFull payment is required on collection of your hire (Please refer to our payment policy for payment types accepted). Please be aware that if you choose to pay by direct deposit or cheque in advance, you must allow a minimum of 48 hours (or 2 x working days) for funds to clear in our account.

person collecting The individual collecting the hire will be the individual signing for the hire. 

Please refer to our terms and conditions and ensure the person collecting the hire is responsible for the equipment.

cablehire If you intend to use any of your own equipment with ours, please have all relevant details available for us such as additional cable requirements or specifications as required.

We will ask you if you know how to use the equipment.  Don’t be a hero and say ‘yes” if you are unsure.  Always ask questions to get the best possible performance out of the system to avoid damage and disappointment.  Some questions you may want to ask include:

  • How do you patch the system together?
  • Microphone technique and placement?
  • Optimal operating level and signs that the system is being over-driven?
  • Speaker placement to avoid feedback?
  • Operating distance for radio microphones?
  • Lighting placement on stage for best performance?
  • Patching in of external devices such as CD players and iPods?

Equipment Return:

 At the end of your event, please check all equipment and cables off your equipment list before leaving your venue.  Any missing equipment, cables, power boards etc will be charged for replacement if they are missing on return.

 Fold cables to the best of your ability and ensure you have all road cases and covers that come with the equipment.  Pack into your vehicle safely and securely.

 Equipment return is between:

8am -10am Monday & Friday

9am -10am Tuesday  to Thursday 

9am-10am Saturday

We are closed on Sundays and Public Holidays
