The Palmer PBRIDGE4A is a 19" rack-mounted active DI box designed for efficiently feeding unbalanced and high-impedance signals from electric instruments, such as guitar, bass, keyboard, or synthesizer, into the microphone inputs of a mixing console. With its transformer-balanced outputs, this DI box eliminates mains hum and interference caused by ground loops, providing a clean and clear sound without any unwanted noise or distortion.

Equipped with a 6.3 mm jack input, THRU-Out, and two transformer-balanced XLR outputs, each channel of this device allows for input signal forwarding to an amplifier from the front or rear.

Utilizing a switchable 30dB pre-attenuation, the BRIDGE 4A has the capacity to receive line signals and extremely high input levels. This feature allows for it to even be connected between the amplifier output and speakers, saving both material and space. In addition, the Audio-Over-Cat output permits the routing of signals from all 4 channels through a single Cat cable (Cat5e or higher), resulting in time efficiency. The active circuit maintains the frequency response, achieves a large dynamic range, and produces a higher output level compared to a passive DI box.
