Founded in 1986, Brisbane Sound Group has grown from humble beginnings into one of Australia’s leading providers of professional Sound, Lighting and Vision solutions.

Originally trading as Brisbane Concert Sound, the company focused on second-hand sales and hire, quickly becoming part of Brisbane’s live music scene. As the business grew, so did its capabilities—expanding into repairs, installation, and larger-scale production. Moves through Fortitude Valley and Bowen Hills supported this growth, before relocating again in 2004 following the inner-city bypass development.

Today, Brisbane Sound Group operates as a true one-stop shop, delivering professional Sound, Lighting and Vision solutions across sales, hire, service and installation. In 2026, we proudly celebrate 40 years in business.
