Check 1… 1-2…” – DiGiCo Launches its First Flypack Mixer, the Quantum112
At just 23kg in its custom Peli case, DiGiCo’s latest and most compact console delivers Quantum Range features and performance for productions on the move.
Mix anywhere.
Built to fit securely inside a durable Pelican Air 1637 case, the console weighs just 23 kilograms when packed, making it eligible as standard checked luggage on most airlines. Despite its ultra-compact size, the Quantum112 boasts powerful features and capabilities, fully embodying the Quantum legacy
Powered by the latest seventh-generation FPGAs, DiGiCo’s newest model features 80 input channels, 24 aux/subgroup buses, LR/LCR master buses, and a 12×8 matrix—all with comprehensive channel processing. It also includes 12 control groups and two solo channels.
Equipped with a 17-inch, 1000-nit high-brightness multitouch screen, the Quantum112 offers both a meterbridge and soft quick-select buttons for fast, intuitive control. Additionally, it boasts 18 individual TFT channel displays to deliver clear user feedback and interaction. Below the main screen, you’ll find twelve newly sourced 100mm touch-sensitive faders, chosen for their smooth operation and precise control.
The DiGiCo Quantum112 seamlessly integrates well-known Quantum Range features such as 20 Mustard Processing channel strips, 6 Spice Rack plugin-style native FPGA processing options, and 24 channels of Nodal Processing. It also offers 12 graphic EQs and 8 FX Rack slots.
I/O
The rear panel includes 64×64 Primary and Secondary Dante ports via Ethercon connectors. It features 16 Mic/Line inputs and 8 line outputs, both utilizing ‘Stadius’ 32-bit preamps and DACs. Additionally, there is one AES/EBU input (2 channels) and one AES/EBU output (2 channels), along with 4 sets of MADI I/O supporting up to 4 MADI interfaces, or 2 redundant interfaces at 48kHz, or 2 interfaces at 96kHz. The console also provides 2 DMI slots and built-in USB MADI (a USB Type B audio I/O interface) for recording and playback of up to 32 channels.
