The RØDECaster Video Core is an innovative all-in-one console for video and audio production, delivering a complete solution for producing professional content. Designed for software-based control or as part of a modular production system with RØDECaster Sync, it offers the same advanced capabilities of the RØDECaster Video in a streamlined form factor, combining powerful video switching, recording and production tools with a fully integrated professional audio mixer. Providing seamless integration across RØDE audio devices including the RØDECaster Pro II and RØDECaster Duo, the RØDECaster Video Core offers maximum flexibility and ensures broadcast-quality results for video podcasts, live streams and studio productions.

Firmware v.1.4 brings 4K capture and Rodecaster Sync for the Rodecaster Video Range! 

What's new with firmware update 1.4:

• 4K Capture Mode – alongside its normal switching operation, a new mode (4K Capture) has been introduced that turns the console into a UHD (3840×2160) capture and distribution system, replacing many of the switching capabilities with the ability to receive multiple HDMI camera feeds and send each out as its own NDI® stream at UHD30. In 4K Capture mode, users can capture every UHD source as an isolated track directly to an external SSD in H.264 or H.265, ready for the edit.
• Full HD Capture Mode – a third mode that prioritises a smooth 1080p60 feed.
• Full audio mixer in every capture mode – the complete RØDE audio engine runs alongside, with each NDI output available as its own custom mix.
• RØDECaster Sync for the whole family – our flagship audio-and-video integration now works with the RØDECaster Video and Video S, joining the RØDECaster Video Core.
• Timeline export compability for Adobe Premiere - following on from our previous update introducing EDL export for DaVinci resolve users, this update adds compatibility for OTIO export to be used with Adobe Premiere quickly and simply reconstruct their complex multi-camera shows in order to make fine adjustments in post-production.
• The RØDECaster Video range can now accept audio from any compatible USB webcam
