BSG Warranty Repairs Terms and Conditions
This service is for equipment purchased from Brisbane Sound Group only and is within the manufacturer’s warranty period.
For warranty repairs, please be advised that an assessment fee will be charged to the client if the equipment is not within the warranty terms and conditions due to:
- Warranty periods
- Misuse of the appliance
- No fault found
- If the product distributor deems the fault of the equipment not covered under warranty
During the process of repair, some or all your stored data may be lost. Please ensure that you have saved this data elsewhere prior to bringing the equipment to Brisbane Sound Group.
In some cases, Brisbane Sound Group may arrange for the return of customer equipment on the customer’s behalf, at the customer’s or Brisbane Sound Group’s expense, with a carrier selected by Brisbane Sound Group.
Brisbane Sound Group will return any such equipment using packaging materials supplied by the customer and accepts no responsibility for the suitability of those materials.
Brisbane Sound Group accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage suffered by the customers, however caused, including but not limited to the negligence of Brisbane Sound Group, its employees or agents or carrier engaged on behalf of the customer, in relation to the return of the products to the customer. Brisbane Sound Group recommends that the customer arrange for its own insurance for the return of equipment.
Common personal data collected from our clients: names, phone numbers, email address and physical/billing address. For warranty purposes we collect the proof of purchase for the faulty equipment.
Brisbane Sound Group collects, stores and discloses your personal information where it is reasonably necessary for the following purposes:
- Accounting, billing and other administrative purposes.
- Your company/business staff in the form of emails, phone calls or in person.
- Any other legal requirements
- Australian distributors for warranty approvals, repairs and administrative purposes.
Please check with the warranty distributors privacy policy before you agree to our policy as we are not liable for their actions.
