Description

The Ferrofish PULSE16 DX boasts more than just a 16 x 16 channel AD / DA converter. Along with studio-grade analog inputs and outputs up to 192kHz, it also offers a wide range of digital interfaces suitable for any task. Whether it's analog, ADAT, or MADI equipment, this device brings it all together and allows for distribution through a sophisticated routing matrix in groups of 8 channels. Not only that, but the Dante interface, with its 64 x 64 channels and redundant implementation via two RJ45 sockets, provides even more flexibility by seamlessly integrating into the routing matrix. No matter the type of signal, analog or digital, the PULSE16 DX has you covered.

Designed in a compact 1RU form, this all-inclusive converter features 16 balanced analog TRS ports that support studio levels up to +20dBu, with precise 1dB adjustments available for each one. The Low Latency converters, complemented by a temperature-compensated clock and jitter reduction PLL, ensure exceptional clarity and precision in sound.

With the addition of Dante, the 4 x 4 ADAT ports provide ample bandwidth for converting all 16 x 16 analog signals at 96kHz, or up to 32 x 32 channels at 48kHz. The inclusion of MADI adds a further 64 x 64 channels and utilizes a modular SFP connection to accommodate various MADI standards (such as Singlemode). Simply swap out the MADI module with a different model.

The Ferrofish Pulse 16 DX Dante Converter is designed for effortless configuration with its two TFT screens. You won't have to refer to the manual as all necessary information is displayed in a clear and concise manner on the screens. Additionally, remote control via MIDI and MADI is readily available for added convenience.

The headphone can be connected to any analog or digital input or output: ideal for control or monitoring.

This 1RU device, which is fanless and compact, is a versatile solution for studio, live sound, broadcast, and recording, addressing high-end and multi-format conversion requirements within the Dante network.
