The KH 805 II enhances acoustic performance compared to the original model while introducing advanced features. Equipped with an innovative long-throw 10” woofer utilizing Extremely Linear Force Factor (ELFF™) technology and smart protection limiters, it delivers remarkably low distortion even at peak SPL levels.

The KH 805 II expands low-frequency response down to 16 Hz and provides roughly double the output compared to the KH 750 DSP. This makes it an ideal pairing for mid-sized monitors like the KH 150 and KH 310.

The KH 805 II features DSP control for enhanced audio performance and seamless integration through the MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment system (sold separately). When paired with analog Neumann monitors like the KH 120 A (discontinued), KH 310, or KH 420, it provides ample DSP capacity to calibrate the entire stereo setup using MA 1, optimizing both frequency response and phase alignment. This makes the KH 805 II a significant upgrade for existing setups, while also serving as an ideal match for Neumann’s DSP-enabled studio monitors.

Since subwoofers are usually positioned on the floor, the driver is safeguarded by a durable grille against accidental impacts. The sturdy enclosure incorporates a precisely engineered bass reflex system designed to deliver tight, accurate bass with virtually silent port noise.

The KH 805 II features two electronically balanced analog XLR inputs and two balanced analog XLR outputs. Its digital input (BNC) supports up to 192 kHz / 24-bit resolution and is compatible with both AES3 and S/P-DIF signals. Additionally, the subwoofer includes an Auto Standby mode that can be turned off using a switch on the rear panel..
