Description

Next Generation Subwoofer

The KH 810 II advances beyond its predecessor with enhanced acoustic precision and additional features. Equipped with a new long-throw 10” woofer featuring Extremely Linear Force Factor (ELFF™) technology and smart protection limiters, the KH 810 II delivers remarkably low distortion, even at peak sound pressure levels.

The KH 810 II extends bass response to as low as 16 Hz and provides approximately double the output power of the KH 750 DSP. This makes it an ideal partner for mid-sized monitors like the KH 150 and KH 310.

The KH 810 II features DSP control for exceptional sound quality and smooth integration through the MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment system (sold separately). When paired with analog Neumann monitors like the KH 120 A (discontinued), KH 310, or KH 420, it provides ample DSP power to calibrate entire stereo, surround, or immersive setups up to 7.1.4 using MA 1, optimizing both frequency response and phase coherence. It also pairs seamlessly with Neumann’s DSP-enabled monitors. In surround and immersive configurations, a combination of analog and DSP-equipped Neumann speakers can be room-aligned using MA 1 with Multichannel Extension (sold separately). Thus, the KH 810 II transcends the role of a traditional subwoofer, serving as an essential upgrade tool for enhancing and expanding immersive audio systems.

Precision in Every Detail

Since subwoofers are generally positioned on the floor, a sturdy grille safeguards the driver against accidental impacts. The solid cabinet incorporates a precisely engineered and tuned bass reflex system, delivering tight bass response with virtually silent port noise.

The KH 810 II provides two analog XLR inputs and outputs for stereo configuration. For multichannel setups, it features two Sub D25 connectors supporting up to 12 analog inputs and two additional Sub D25 connectors accommodating up to 11 analog outputs. All connections are electronically balanced. Digital connectivity is available via AES3 (BNC) for studio monitors. Additionally, an AES67-enabled version of the subwoofer, the KH 810 II AES67, offers audio networking capabilities.

The KH 810 II is ideal for music production, film scoring, broadcast, and post-production environments, supporting tracking, mixing, and mastering tasks. Featuring an innovative power amplifier design, it delivers outstanding audio quality alongside high energy efficiency. The Auto Standby feature can be disabled through the MA 1 app for added convenience.
