Description

Avantis Bundle including the Avantis with dPack, Dust cover, Hard case, 64 channel Dante Card, and GX4816 I/O box.

The Avantis features a powerful dual screen 64 Channel / 42 Bus / 96kHz digital mixer, plus the dPack add on for additional dLive DEEp and Dyn8 processing. This bundle includes the GX4816 mix rack - the perfect companion to the Avantis & protective dust cover.

Allen & Health wanted to make the Avantis their most flexible compact mixer yet. To do that, they loaded the unit with Continuity UI and two 15.6" high-definition touchscreens. These screens are ultra responsive and utilize gesture controls to pinch, swipe, and drag ’n‘ drop your way through the intuitive interface. You can open configurable widget areas to load up your scenes, meters, and use RackExtra FX to add effects like Reverb, Chorus and Delays. With the abundance of options and user control, your workflow will look and feel exactly how you want it to.

Straight out of the box, the Allen & Heath Avantis can handle 12 XLR inputs and outputs, network I/O and SLink connections to handle 64 channels at a time with 144 fader strips. It has two I/O ports on the back that are each capable of 128 x 128 operation at 96kHz for cards including Dante, MADI, Waves, and gigaACE. This mixer has an SLink port that controls your I/O expanders, stage boxes, and networked equipment. The Allen & Heath Avantis is equipped with word clock I/O that keeps all your digital gear perfectly synced to ensure your show runs without a hitch.

With a massive 206 square inches of screen space operating at 1080p Full HD resolution, Allen & Heath Avantis' Continuity UI allows you to see and instantly interact, enabling a seamless connection between the physical controls and the displays. The faders react on touch to immediately highlight the active channels for instant visual feedback.

The channel rotaries let you work gains or pans, then at the touch of a button, dynamically fold the display to show EQ or compressor parameters across the whole bank. Each screen also features a FastGrab tab on the right-hand side, giving you split-second access to key freely-assignable parameters like aux sends, EQ, compressor and FX on the currently selected or specific channel.

The GX4816 is a 96kHz audio expander that provides high-input-count remote expansion for SQ, Avantis and dLive mixing systems, and for the AHM-64 audio matrix processor.

Each GX4816 is loaded with 48 dLive mic preamps with independent Phantom Power LED indicators, plus 16 XLR line outputs. Additionally, 2 DX ports are provided for connection to up to 4 DX Expanders for further I/O expansion. Connection to a ME Personal Mixing System is possible via the DX2 socket when used with SQ or Avantis.

GX4816 connects via a single Cat5e cable to an SLink socket on a SQ, Avantis or AHM-64, or to a gigaACE audio network card on a dLive system.

Connection to DX Expanders and the ME Personal Mixing System is also over Cat5e cable.
