The 6388 is designed to be less sensitive to exact placement than conventional directional headsets. Thanks to its asymmetrical capsule design and shifted acoustical axis, it maintains high sound quality even when positioned slightly further from the mouth or more discreetly to the side. In practice, this allows users to achieve reliable, high-quality results across a range of placements, while maintaining optimal performance around the recommended 3 cm distance (“corner of the smile".

Enhanced ear-hook shape and positioning 

Reshaped to follow the ear's natural contours, the hook distributes pressure evenly for a comfortable, stable fit, which is tilted slightly backward so the frame sits more naturally and discreetly behind the ear.

Soft-touch tip 

A small, transparent tip on the end of the ear hook reduces pressure points during extended use.

Improved boom routing and smooth size adjustment 

Angled clips and a silicone friction interface deliver a natural boom position and precise ear-hook adjustment.

Integrated 90° cable management
